David Vest performs either solo or with his all-star band at major blues festivals and clubs. He is an authentic, Southern-bred boogie-woogie piano pounder.

He backed Big Joe Turner in the '60s, toured with Jimmy T99 Nelson, Floyd Dixon and Lavelle White, and was co-leader of the legendary Paul deLay Band, sharing vocal and frontman duties.

More than five decades into his career, he continues to perform with energy and abandon. As more than one music writer has said, "David Vest is the real thing." He is a 2012 Maple Blues Award nominee for Piano Player of the Year.
